Assets

Use assets to manage equipment and materials for a site. An asset represents equipment or material tracked as an object.

Track repairs, depreciation, and inventory that affect capacity management and EPA compliance.

Assets exist at the site level in the navigation hierarchy. Each asset has a home page with a toolbar, a left navigation pane, and panes for components.

Navigate to an asset home page using Browse, the navigation hierarchy, a site, or a Search.

The Asset home page includes:

• Asset Data

  Core asset information:

  • Name

  • Number

  • Status

  • Type

  • Latitude

  • Longitude

• Equipment Information

  Associated equipment details for tracking purposes:

  • Manufacturer

  • Model Number

  • Serial Number

  • Tag Number

  The details that appear vary according to your portfolio.

• Lifecycle Information

  Track lifecycle status and changes.

  • Purchase Price Date

  • Lifespan (in Years)

  • Date of Sale

  • Previous Owner

  The details that appear vary according to your portfolio.

• Financial Information

  Maintain financial details for the asset, including:

  • Currency

  • Purchase Price

  • Invoice Number

  • Current Valuation

  • Valuation Date

  • Book Value

  • Book Value Date

  • Sale Price

• Warranty: Track warranty information.

• Asset Photo: View and manage photos associated with the asset.

• Components: View and manage related asset components.

• Projects Summary: View projects associated with the asset.

• Incidents: Create and track unplanned events.

• Notes: Add additional information to an asset.

Toolbar

Use the asset toolbar to:

• Edit: Make changes to the asset information.

• Archive: Remove the asset from Siterra without deleting it. This relocates the asset to the Archive Manager. You cannot access or report on an archived asset unless you restore it.

• Delete: Delete the asset and its child objects. Once deleted, an asset can no longer be accessed or reported on.

  This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

• Edit Financial Information: Make changes to the asset financial information.

• Move: Move the asset to another site in the portfolio.

• Link to Project: Associate the asset with a project.

• Subscribe: Manage and create notification subscriptions for the asset.

• Log: View a record of actions taken on the asset.

Your portfolio administrator determines the buttons and menus that appear in the toolbar.

Quick access

Use the quick access panes in the left navigation pane to access other objects associated with the asset. Select an object to display that object's home page:

• Sites: Sites in the parent Search Ring (or other unit).

• Hubs: Hub objects associated with the parent site for portfolios with Small Cell functionality enabled.

• Additional Data: Additional custom forms (not marked as default) associated with the asset.

• Assets: Other assets associated with the site.

• Projects: Projects associated with the asset that were created using templates.

• Custom Projects: Ad hoc projects associated with the asset.

• Libraries: Libraries associated with the asset.

• Photo Libraries: Libraries of photos related to the asset.

Your portfolio administrator determines the sections that appear in the left navigation pane.
