About the Setup Module

The Setup module is where you will configure most aspects of the TMS software, from new TMS users and user groups to options, default field values, and permissions.

While most of the setup for options, defaults, and codes are broken down by their applicable module in the Setup menu (for example, Work Orders, Assets), there are setup functions that apply to the TMS system as a whole. This section covers those items as well as the Diagnostic Center and TMS database administration.

All setup and configuration topics that are module-specific, for example, Work Order Codes, can be found in the section dedicated to that module.

Control Panel, Printing Services (both types), Diagnostic Center, and DB administration should be their own TOCs/targets and appear separately in the help output.
