About the Form Designer

The Form Designer is the Setup module feature that allows administrator-level TMS users to create or edit custom forms to use when working in any of the following modules:

Assets

PM Schedules

Blanket Orders (part of the Purchasing add-on)

Procedures

Contracts (add-on)

Purchasing (add-on)

Customers (add-on)

Requisitions (part of the Purchasing add-on)

Departments

Resources

Materials

Vendors

PE Schedules

Work Orders

Custom forms can be based on an existing standard or custom form. Or, you can start with a blank form that only contains the required fields for the module selected, and add new tabs, fields, and grids as needed.

Aside from the fields required by TMS, custom forms can contain as many or as few visible fields as you want. Similarly, a custom form can contain many tabs or just one.
