Events

Use events to track planned occurrences associated with sites. Create projects and libraries on an event. Access events from the Events section of a site home page or a search.

When you create an event, Siterra creates a To-Do for a specific date.

Each event has a home page with a toolbar, a left navigation pane, and sections for event details. For recurring events, each event instance has its own home page. The Recurring Instances section appears only for the master recurring event.

The Event home page includes:

Toolbar

  • Edit: Update event information.

  • Delete: Delete the event. After you delete an event, you can no longer access or report on it.

    This is a permanent action that cannot be undone.

  • Assign / Remove User: Assign a user to take action on the event so that the event appears in the assigned user's To-Dos, or remove the assigned user from the event.

  • Assign Group: Assign a group to take action on the event.

  • Mark as Complete: Change the event status to complete.

  • Subscribe: Manage and create notification subscriptions for the event.

  • Log: View a record of actions taken on the event.

Your portfolio administrator determines the buttons and menus that appear in the toolbar.

Quick access

Use the quick access sections in the left navigation pane to open other objects associated with the event:

  • Sites: Other sites in the parent search ring or other unit.

  • Hubs: Hub objects associated with the parent site for portfolios with Small Cell functionality enabled.

  • Projects: Projects associated with the event that were created using templates.

  • Custom Projects: Ad hoc projects associated with the event.

  • Libraries: Libraries associated with the event.

  • Photo Libraries: Photo libraries related to the event.

Your portfolio administrator determines the sections that appear in the left navigation pane.
