Configure Resources

Resources, also called booking detail items, are individual items or services that users can reserve for an event. Resources are organized into categories and can also be organized into groupings within a category.

Resource packages

A resource package combines multiple related resources into a single selection. Resource packages simplify the reservation process by allowing users to reserve several resources at the same time.

Production items and production areas

Production items define the components required to provide a resource.

You can also define production areas to indicate where items are prepared. For example, a delicatessen production area might produce sandwiches, chips, and bottled water.

Selections and selection items

Selections allow users to choose options for a resource, such as side dish options for an entrée

If a resource includes selections, users must choose from the available selection items when reserving the resource.
