Add Material Charges
Material charges on work orders allow you to track materials or parts that were used or will be used during the course of completing a work order. Material charges can be for inventoried part (stocked locally in a warehouse) or non-inventoried parts (typically, not stocked in a warehouse).
Non-inventoried materials are also called materials-on-the-fly in regards to TMS. A good example of material-on-the-fly charge might be for parts purchased from a hardware store, rather than selected from a stock room or a warehouse owned by your organization.
