Add Asset Fields to a Web Request Page
After you create a new Web Request page, you are taken to the Web Request Edit screen, where you are shown additional tabs and fields. To add Asset fields to the page from the Asset Settings tab and Field Designer sub-tab, follow these steps.

Select the Asset Settings tab.

Select the Field Designer sub-tab.
The required fields for all work orders are already in place.

To add a field:

Expand one of the field groups (for example, the Identification group) in the Fields pane on the right side of the screen.

Click the field you want to add and drag it to the position on the page where you want the field to appear.

To give a field a custom label:

Right-click the field and then select More Properties.

In the Properties Editor window, under Custom Label, enter the field label you want to be displayed on the Web Request page.

Click Apply to save the field's settings and close the Properties Editor.

To move a field, click the field and drag it to its new position.
You can also right-click the field and then select Move Up or Move Down.

To add a default value to a field:

Right-click the field and then select More Properties.

In the Properties Editor window, under Default Value, choose a value from the drop-down menu (for drop-down fields) or enter a value into the field (for text and numeric entry fields).

Click Apply to save the field's settings and close the Properties Editor.

To make a field read-only:

Right-click the field and then select More Properties.

In the Properties Editor window, under Default Value, choose a value from the drop-down menu (for drop-down fields) or enter a value into the field (for text and numeric entry fields).

Check the box for Set Field to Read Only.

Click Apply to save the field's settings and close the Properties Editor.

To hide a field from the user's view:

Right-click the field and then select More Properties.

In the Properties Editor window, under Default Value, choose a value from the drop-down menu (for drop-down fields) or enter a value into the field (for text and numeric entry fields).

Check the box for Hide Field From User.

To show the hidden field on the confirmation page when work order is created, select the check box for Display On Confirmation Page as well.

Click Apply to save the field's settings and close the Properties Editor.

To change an optional field into a required field:

Right-click the field.
-
Select More Properties.

In the Properties window, select the Set Field to Requiredcheck box .

When you're done editing the Asset fields, click Save.
