Create a New Web Request Page

The Web Request New screen allows you to create a new Web Request page record in TMS. To create a new Web Request page, follow these steps.

  1. Select Modules > Web Request> New

  2. Fill in the required fields (denoted with a red asterisk *):

    • Page Title = Title for this Web Request page.

    • Description = Description of the page. Might contain a description of the page's scope or who should use the page.

    • Segment = The TMS database segment in which the page will be stored.

    • Status = The status for the page, Active (available for use) or Inactive (not available for use).

  3. If you want users of this page to be required to log in prior to using the page, check the Require User Login option. If this is not checked, no login will be required.

  4. If you want to enable TMS-only users with TMS credentials, AD users mapped to TMS users with AD credentials, AD authentication only users with AD credentials, and SSO authentication only users with SSO credentials to sign in, select Require Login Page. Accept All Credentials (TMS, SSO, or AD).

    If you want to enable TMS-only users to sign in with TMS credentials, select Require Login Page. Accept Only Registered-TMS-Users Logins. AD users mapped to TMS users can sign in with AD credentials. AD authentication only and SSO authentication only users are unable to sign in.

    Note:

    Only one of the above options can be selected.

  5. If you want the Remember Me check box to be available on the login screen when users access this page, check the Show Remember Me Checkbox at Login option.

    If this box is not checked, users will have to manually enter their login information each time they use this Web Request page.

    This check box can only be selected if Require User Login is selected first.

  6. Click Save

    The screen changes to the Web Request Edit screen. A URL for this Web Request page is generated and shown on the Main tab.

    The default fields and settings are applied to the new page. If you want to add fields or adjust the settings, you can do so on the Work Order Settings and Asset Settings tabs. See the Designing a Page in Web Request Edit topic for more information.
