Meridian Portal Introduction
Meridian Portal is a cloud-based application that facilitates collaboration on engineering projects. It connects internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies in one place. Meridian Portal simplifies document management, review, and approval, ensuring compliance and providing full visibility with audit trails. Its intuitive interface and workflows help teams work efficiently and stay organized.
User roles, projects, and documents
In Meridian Portal, you collaborate on projects, and project members have role-based access. The project roles are:

Contractor: Modifies and submits documents in assigned projects. Contractors are external contributors.

Reviewer: Reviews documents inside assigned projects.

Approver: Approves documents inside assigned projects and has reviewer rights.

Contributor: Modifies and commits documents inside assigned projects and has approver rights.

Document Controller: Manages project membership, organizes internal projects, allocates data, manages review process, and has contributor rights.

Project Owner: Configures projects and has document controller rights.
Project owners create new projects and invite project members. Each member can view assigned tasks, received packages, and recent projects on the Portal Landing page. Project owners, document controllers, and contractors can also access a personal dashboard with status reports on documents and the workflow progress of packages.
Quickly find documents inside a project with text search and dynamic filtering. Tenant administrators can customize the columns in the project documents view for internal and external users.
Only tenant administrators can change the Meridian Portal Account Settings.
