Manage Page Layouts

If you are a System Administrator, you can customize pages to meet the needs of your organization in the Manage Page Layouts section of the System Administrator Dashboard. Several tabs display:

  • Summary Pages: A summary page is a way for users to organize the entity data into a readable format. There are many summary pages which exist in the system by default. Often administrators will create multiple custom summary pages where each page will contain a different type of information.

  • Sub-pages: Sub pages are blocks of fields that you can use on summary pages, list layouts, and forms. We recommend you group fields together on sub pages and then to use the sub pages to build other content. Additionally, if you only want to allow certain users to edit specific fields, you can lock the sub page to prevent editing. You can create a sub page for form header information, such as a logo and address.

  • List Layouts: Create, store, and manage multiple unique records of the same type of information. Build an ideal view into the parent-child-grandchild relationships within the system. List layouts build upon existing table relationships in the Lucernex database.

  • Setup Pages: Control the layout used in Step 1 of the Setup Wizards. Use multiple wizards to create entities in the system. Create layouts to choose from in Manage Summary Pages or Manage Sub Pages.

  • Map Popup Layouts: Control the layout that displays when you click a pin on a Google Map in Lucernex. Create layouts to choose from in Manage Summary Pages or Manage Sub Pages.

These tabs include the Page Layout Editor, which you can also use for Reports and Forms.
