Asset Detail
View and update comprehensive information about a specific asset, ensuring all details are accurate. Access an overview of your asset's cost, visualize spending trends through graphs, attach relevant documents to keep all information in one place, and more.
To access this page, click an asset number on All Assets or Site Assets.
Asset Detail includes several editable tabs:
Asset details
This tab provides essential information about the asset, including:

Site: The site where the asset is located. It's the highest level in the location hierarchy.

Verisae tag number: Unique bar code identifying the asset for scanning.

Department: Indicates the department within the site that is responsible for the asset.

Floor level: Specific floor within the site where the asset is. You can make a floor level selection when you assign floor levels to a site via the Admin area.

Asset type: Specifies the type of the asset in a more specific way. For example, hot water heater.

Category: Main classification of the asset, such as mechanical room. Click it to create a work order with the asset and category already filled in.

Subcategory: A further classification of the asset, such as plumbing.

Asset type description: Distinguishing information about the asset type that you can define as needed.

Manufacturer: Company that manufactures the asset. You can change the asset's manufacturer by updating the asset type.

Location detail: Additional information about the asset's location to help maintenance personnel locate it quickly.

Model: Identifies a specific model of an asset by the manufacturer.

Serial number: Unique code assigned by the manufacturer. Typically used for warranty, history tracking, and distinguishing similar units.

Supplier: Company that supplies the asset.

Asset condition: The condition of the asset. For instance, bad, good, or excellent.

Date record created: Indicates when the asset record was first entered into the system.

Comment: Additional information about the asset.
-
Status: Current status of the asset, such as In service, Inactive, Not found, and others.
-
In service date: The date the asset was put into service.

Parent asset: Primary asset to which the current asset is linked as a sub-component.
Warranty
This tab provides information related to the asset's warranty, ensuring that any repairs or replacements are managed within the terms agreed with the provider.
- Installing provider: Provider who installed the asset.

Warranty name: The name of the warranty for easy identification.

Warranty description: Additional details about what the warranty covers, such as parts, labor, travel, and delivery costs.

Warranty provider: Provider responsible for performing warranty services. This provider might differ from Installing provider.
-
Warranty period setting: Indicates whether the warranty covers parts and labor combined or separately.
-
Warranty SLA setting: Defines the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for warranty-related work, based on work order or asset type.
Remote monitoring
Manage real-time tracking of an asset's performance by entering its fixture number.

Fixture number: Unique identifier for the asset used in remote monitoring, enabling precise tracking and management.
If the asset includes a fixture, additional details appear:

Controller name: Identification of the device managing the asset.

Parent system: Primary system to which the asset belongs.
-
Product type: Specific type of product being monitored.
Energy
The Energy tab provides insights into the asset's energy usage. Monitoring and managing energy consumption is critical for optimizing efficiency, reducing operational costs, and supporting sustainability goals.

Associated sub meter: The sub meter linked to the asset, which tracks its specific energy usage.
Remaining details in this tab depend on whether the asset belongs to an energy group attribute. For example, a door beverage asset within the Refrigerated cases energy group shows the following information:

Anti sweat heater amps: Amperage used by the anti-sweat heater in the asset.

Auxiliary load: Auxiliary load measured in BTUs per foot.
-
BTU/hr: Energy consumption of the asset in BTUs per hour.
-
Case length: Length of the asset's case, relevant for calculating energy usage.
-
Case temp: Operating temperature within the asset's case.
-
Case type: Type of case the asset uses, which can influence energy efficiency.
-
Conductive load: Conductive load, measured in BTUs per foot, reflecting the heat transfer within the asset.

Controls: Type of controls managing the asset's operation and energy use.

Defrost control: Mechanism controlling the defrost cycle of the asset.
-
Defrost duration: Length of time the defrost cycle runs.
-
Defrost frequency: How often the defrost cycle occurs.
-
Defrost type: Method used for defrosting.
-
Lighting amps: Amperage used by the asset’s lighting system.
-
Lighting direction: Direction in which the asset’s lighting is focused.
-
Lighting type: Type of lighting installed.
-
Voltage: Voltage required to operate the asset, crucial for energy management and safety.
Costs
This tab provides detailed information on the financial aspects of the asset, helping you manage and control expenses throughout its lifecycle.
- Purchase price: Original purchase price of the asset.

Salvage value: Estimated residual value of the asset at the end of its useful life.

Daily depreciation expense: Daily depreciation amount of the asset.
-
Total spent to date: Cumulative amount spent on the asset.
-
Percentage of purchase price: Percentage of the original purchase price spent to date.
-
Current book value: Current value of the asset after depreciation.
-
Maintenance threshold: Amount you don't want to exceed during an asset's lifetime.
-
Expected asset lifecycle: Expected length of asset's useful life, measured in years.

LOA days: Number of days of expected life remaining. This field is automatically calculated based on the Date installed and Expected asset lifecycle.

Expected LOA description: Enter a description of the expected life of the asset.
-
Residual life: Remaining useful life of the asset.
-
Residual life days: Remaining useful life in days, for a precise measure of the asset's expected longevity.
Attributes
Attributes vary depending on the asset type, offering specific details that are critical for managing and maintaining the asset. For example, an air conditioning unit might include the following attributes:

BTUs: The cooling capacity of the unit

Capitalized or operational: Indicates whether the asset is capitalized or considered an operational expense.

Refrigerant type: The type of refrigerant used in the unit.
-
Tonnage: Unit's capacity, typically measured in tons, which relates to its cooling power.
-
Voltage: Electrical voltage required to operate the unit, important for safety and compatibility.
Asset spend graph
The Asset spend graph visually represents the spending associated with the asset over time, allowing you to track and compare costs effectively.
You can view the data over various time periods, including by month, 3 months, 6 months, year-to-date, 1 year, and all time.
The graph includes the following information:

Purchase price: The initial cost of acquiring the asset.

Reactive work order costs: Expenses incurred from unplanned or emergency maintenance.

PPM work order costs: Costs associated with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
-
Total asset spend: Overall spending on the asset, combining purchase price, maintenance, and repair costs.

Asset category average cost: Cost associated with the category of the asset.
-
Asset subcategory average cost: Average cost for the asset's subcategory.
-
Asset type average cost: Average cost for the specific type of asset, aiding in cost comparison and analysis.

Maintenance threshold: Cost limit set for the asset.
Docs
View or attach relevant documents, such as manuals, certificates, and maintenance records related to the asset.

File name: Identification of the document.
-
File type: Formats like JPG, PDF, TXT, and others.
-
File size: Data Size of the file, such as KB, MB, and so on.
-
Date uploaded: When you uploaded the file.
-
Link to: Specifies the entity associated with the file, such as a work order.
Attach a file

On Asset detail, click Docs.
-
Click the + sign at the bottom of the table.
-
Select a file from your file explorer.
File uploaded window appears.

Click Ok.
Delete a file
-
On Asset detail, click Docs.
-
Click the - sign on the left of the file name.
The Confirm window appears.

Click Continue.
Legacy
Manage the placement of an asset, providing precise location. If your company utilizes floor plans, this tab helps in accurately and easily position the asset on the plan.
- Latitude, Longitude, Rotation angle: Exact location of the asset on a floor plan

Icon requires placement: If your company uses floor plans and you want the asset to appear on the floor plan, select Yes.
Compliance
Administer if the asset must meet specific regulatory or compliance requirements.

Has compliance requirements: Choose whether compliance requirements apply.
Other actions
Take the following actions at the bottom of the page after editing the asset:

Save: Save any updates you made to the asset details.

Delete: Delete the asset immediately without any confirmation step.

Cancel: Cancel any updates you made before saving.
-
View: Review the asset’s current details.
-
Change status: Move the asset to a different location or change its operational status.

Create work order: Create a work order to perform service on the asset.
