Change an asset's status

This process allows you to move an asset to a different site or change its operational status (in-service, not working, and so on).

  1. Go to Assets > All assets and select the asset whose status you want to change.

    Asset details opens.

  2. Click Change status at the bottom of the page.

  3. To move the asset to a different site, click Search (magnifying glass button) for Move to, pick the site you want to move it to, and click Select.

  4. Provide a Reason for the location change or status change.

  5. To change the asset's status, select a new Status from the list.

  6. Click the calendar and select the Effective date for the change.

  7. Click Save.

    Asset details opens with the change applied.
