Accruent vx Maintain 2024.06 Release Notes

We're delivering this automatic upgrade on June 17, 2024, with these highlights:

• Asset manufacturer: Add a new manufacturer to the system directly from the Asset pages for a speedier workflow

• Maintenance history: View all the kinds of service performed during the life of an asset at a glance to gain faster insights from the asset's maintenance history

• Asset status: Update an asset's operational status in real time during the course of performing maintenance so that the application accurately reflects the health of the asset without having to wait on formalities in completing a work order

• Navigation: We made Assets a top-level menu item so you can access asset info more easily

Quickly add a new manufacturer

Via a new permission, when enabled, you can now add a manufacturer for an asset when the manufacturer is not associated with the asset type, reducing the number of steps needed to associate a new manufacturer with an asset. If used, this function creates a new instance of an asset type with a net new manufacturer or an existing manufacturer associated with it.

View work order types in an asset's maintenance history

Maintenance history of an asset now shows the work order type for all work orders associated with it, indicating the kind of work performed during its maintenance history. You can also display selected work orders from Maintenance History on the All Work Orders page to view more details about them.

Update asset status immediately after service

VXMAIN-28856

You can now update the operational status of assets linked to a work order prior to closing the work order, ensuring the application reflects the working status of assets in real time rather than having to wait for job completion. This new permission is disabled by default.

Assets now a top-level menu item

We made Assets a top-level menu item in the application, replacing Asset Types, so that you can get directly to asset information more easily.
