Set Up AutoPrint Profiles
TMS AutoPrint works with TMS Control Panel and TMS Print Services to locate work order records to be printed, based on profiles you create. These profiles contain search criteria for TMS to use to locate work orders that match the criteria you specify. When work orders are located, AutoPrint loads those records into the print queue. Printing Services polls Control Panel for new jobs in the print queue. When a new job is located, Printing Services sends the work order records to the printer group you selected in the related AutoPrint profile.
Why do you want to set up TMS AutoPrint?
Because AutoPrint facilitates the automatic printing of work orders. AutoPrint can be used to automatically print schedule work orders generated through Manual Schedule Generation. You can also use it to automatically print work requests submitted through the TMS Web Request add-on module so that you don't have to manually search for and then print those requests.
TMS Print Services must be running in order for work orders matching AutoPrint profile criteria to be printed automatically.
