Request a Trial Key

There are three ways that you can request a trial license key for an add-on module:

• You can request trial access from the "Try and Buy" page on frsoft.com.

• You can contact us directly and submit a request for a trial.

• You can request a trial from inside TMS (as long as you have a core license key already set up in TMS).

To request a trial license from inside TMS, follow these steps.

1. Open the License Manager screen (Setup > General > License Manager).

2. Select the Request Trial button below License Keys (to the right of the New Key button).

3. In the Request Trial License child window, select the check box next to each of the modules you want to be part of the trial license.

4. Click OK. The Add Key pop-up window appears.

5. Enter a name for the license key, such as "Trial Key 1".

6. Click OK.

The new trial license key is added to the grid, and you can now distribute licenses for the trial add-ons across your user segments (for those add-ons that utilize individual licenses). See the Set Up Add-on Module Licenses topic for more information.

When a new trial key is added to the License Manager screen, you can see a global view of what the license key contains and when it expires. See the Understand the License Key Global View topic for more information.

When a license key is close to its expiration date, TMS will notify you of this with an alert pop-up window.
