Create a Designer Report

Designer reports are created in a two step process.

  1. The data source must be created with the TMS Report Designer. We cover how to create a new data source in the TMS Report Designer in the About the TMS Report Designer section.

  2. The data source must be linked to a report definition you create in TMS. We cover how to create a report definition to tie to your Designer report data source in Connect a Designer Report Data Source topic.

Once you tie the data source to a new report record, you can assign security to the Designer report. See the Report Definition Security topic for more information.
