Member Administration
If you are a system administrator, you can manage Lucernex users and contacts in the Member Administration pane of the System Administrator Dashboard.
You can set the security permissions of user classes, and store their vendor information.
You can manage defined fields related to member administration from the System Administrator Dashboard.
Job Function Code
A job function is a broad category such as an employee's department. The only job function that adds system functionality is System Administrator. You can add a job function code.

Click Admin in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.
The System Administrator Dashboard page opens.

Click Job Function Code link in the Member Administration column.
The Job Function Code window opens.

Click Add Item.

In the Add Item window that opens, enter a Name and a Description.

In Available for the following Portfolios / Capital Programs, select the portfolios this item is to be available for.
All Portfolios / Capital Programs is selected by default. You can select multiple options.
- Click Add.
Job Title Code
A job title is more specific to the person than the job function. The Job Title is used when auto-assigning things like tasks, work flow steps, and notifications.
To add a job title code:

Click Admin in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.
The System Administrator Dashboard page opens.

Click Job Title Code link in the Member Administration column.
The Job Title Code window opens.

Click Add Item.

In the Add Item window that opens, enter a Name and a Description.

In Available for the following Portfolios / Capital Programs, select the portfolios this item is to be available for.
All Portfolios / Capital Programs is selected by default. You can select multiple options.
- Click Add.
User Class Code
User classes determine Lucernex user security permissions. Get started with user security to configure user classes. You can add a user class code. Recommended naming conventions describes our best practice recommendations for naming user classes.

Click Admin in the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the window.
The System Administrator Dashboard page opens.

Click User Class Code link in the Member Administration column.

In the User Class Code window that opens, click Add User Class.

In the Add User Class window that opens, enter a Name and a Description.

If required, select a user class to Duplicate Security From.
If the security settings for the user class you copy are complex, it may take a while for the copying process to complete. Lucernex sends you an email when the process is complete.

Click Add.
