Assign a contact to a work order
(TMSPROV-24960)
Assign a contact to a work order using the Add assignment command in the Contacts grid Actions menu. This feature adds the selected contact to the Assignments grid.
Add contacts assigned to assets on the work order through the ellipsis Actions menu. The system prevents duplicate assignments and ensures you assign only active resources.

Improve work order procedure validation
(TMSPROV-27504)
Complete all required sub-procedure readings to ensure data integrity and finish the work order. If you attempt to save a work order with missing values, Accruent TMS remains on the Update page and displays a toast message identifying the missing fields.
The system automatically activates the Procedure readings tab. Save the required values: the system redirects you to the previous page.

Manage attachment status

Set the status of existing attachments to Active, Inactive, or Auto print (PDF only) in the Update attachment dialog. A new Status column in the attachments grid allows you to view these values. This update provides better control over your document library and lays the groundwork for upcoming automatic printing features.
Auto-populate locations
(TMSPROV-23451)
Accruent TMS now fills the Building and Location fields when a site has only one choice. If that Location has a description, the system also fills the Location description field. This update reduces clicks and manual data entry. It brings Accruent TMS in line with the efficient workflow in Classic TMS. You can still manually override these values by selecting a different option from the dropdown menus.
Alert for unavailable resource assignments

Accruent TMS now alerts you if you assign a resource to a work order who has an active unavailability record. When a conflict occurs, a confirmation dialog displays the resource's unavailability end date. You can click Continue to proceed with the assignment or Cancel to select a different resource. This update ensures scheduling visibility and maintains feature parity with Classic TMS.
