Procedures
Shops establish specific procedures or tasks for inspections and scheduled maintenance. Using procedures ensures consistency and adherence to best practices across the organization.
The Procedures tab contains two primary sections
- Procedures grid Provides a read-only overview of all procedures attached to the work order.
- Procedure Readings grid Enter and manage specific data for each procedure and sub-procedure.
Procedure readings
Enter all required procedure and sub-procedure readings before closing a work order. Readings may include yes/no selections, notes, specific data values, or ranged values. A summary at the top of each procedure identifies Errors, Blank readings, and Warnings.
To ensure data integrity, Accruent TMS validates required fields during the save process. If you attempt to save a work order with missing required values, Accruent TMS remains on the Update page and displays a toast message identifying the missing fields. The system automatically activates the Procedure Readings tab to fix the errors. After you save the required values, the system redirects you to the previous page.
