Remove PPM Assets from Work Orders in Mobile

When you automatically select assets for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) based on the rules set on PPM Manager, each work order populates with contract assets. Ensure accurate scheduling when you close a work order by removing incorrectly included assets that don't require maintenance, then select a reason for removal.

Your administrator must configure PPM asset selection before you can complete this task.

  1. Go to Service > Outstanding Work Orders or All Work Orders.

  2. Search for the work order.

  3. Expand the PPM asset detail section.

  4. Tap the asset.

  5. In Asset actions, tap Remove asset.

  6. Select a reason for removal.

  7. Tap Save.

The system saves the action in Work Order Summary and marks the asset as Asset removed. To review the historical record of the event, including asset modification and removal, click AssetsPending Asset Actions in WorkSpace.

Your administrator reviews and approves the removed asset.
