PPM Suppressions
The PPM Suppressions tab in the PPM Builder allows you to prevent work orders from being generated by one PPM when another PPM has already created work orders for the same assets or sites within a defined time frame. This helps prioritize work and avoid redundant visits. For example, if a store undergoing remodeling doesn't need technicians arriving for scheduled maintenance during that period, you can suppress those work orders for a set timeframe.
How PPM suppressions work
If a PPM would generate a work order, but another PPM has already scheduled one for the same period, suppression prevents duplicate work orders. For example, if you have both a yearly PPM work order and a monthly PPM work order, you can set suppression so that when the yearly work order is scheduled, the monthly one doesn't generate for that same period.
