External FC Web Service Settings

Configure how Observe sends flagged condition data to external systems and manage error notifications for failed transmissions.

1. Go to Flagged condition push settings.

2. On the External FC web service settings tab, fill in:

   • External flagged condition system: Select the system that receives the data:

     • Send flagged condition data: Allows Observe to send flagged condition data to the selected system. Enter the API key, username, and password.

     • Service now: Enables integration with ServiceNow to manage flagged conditions directly within that platform.

   • URL/IP destination: Enter the URL or IP address for data transmission.

   • Test URL/IP destination: Input the URL or IP to test the connection before pushing data.

3. Click the Error handling tab and complete:

   • Request attempts before acknowledgment: Define the number of retry attempts from 1 to 5 before the system acknowledges a failure.

   • Retry attempt interval: Specify the time between retry attempts in case of failure.

4. On Recipients of error acknowledgment, click + to add a contact to receive notification.

5. Enter the recipient's name and email.

6. Click Save.
