Create Asset

Create and maintain up-to-date assets for essential efficient monitoring, preventive maintenance, and effective management. Accurate asset records support warranty management, cost control, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making, ensuring that your utilize your company's resources efficiently.

  1. Go to one of the following:

    • Sites > Select a site > Assets tab.

    • Assets menu > All Assets.

  2. Click Create new asset.

    Asset Detail opens. The mandatory fields are:

    • Asset details: This tab provides essential information about the asset.

      • Site: Choose the site where the asset is located.

      • Verisae tag number: Enter the unique barcode assigned to the asset for identification.

      • Department: Choose the department within the selected site where the asset is located.

      • Asset type: Search for the general classification of asset, including type and manufacturer.

      • In service date: Choose the date the asset was put into service from the calendar icon.

    • Warranty: This tab offers Information related to the asset's warranty, ensuring that repairs are managed within the terms agreed.

      • Warranty SLA setting: Define whether the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for warranty-related work is based on the work order type or the asset type.

  3. Click Save.

    The system creates the asset. You can edit it whenever needed.
