Create Suspension Event

Suspensions help avoid false alerts while ensuring monitoring resumes automatically as scheduled. You can manually suspend flagged condition monitoring to temporarily stop alerts for a site. This is useful during maintenance, repairs, or planned downtime to prevent unnecessary alarms. Schedule suspensions in advance, set automatic resumption times, and configure notifications for better tracking.

  1. Go to Sites > Suspended Monitoring.

  2. Click Suspended monitoring, at the bottom of the table.

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Site: Select the site where monitoring should be suspended.

    • Suspend site: Select whether to suspend the entire site.

    • Schedule suspension: Select whether you want to start the suspension now or set a future time.

    • Schedule resumption: Resume monitoring at a defined time or after a specific duration, such as after 1 hour, 12 hours, 36 hours, and so on.

    • Suspension reason: Select a reason for the suspension.

    • Comments: Enter additional details.

    • Work order #: Search for and link a related work order.

    • Periodic reminder email: Enable daily, weekly, or monthly reminders for the suspension event.

    • List additional email recipients, comma-separated: Enter email addresses separated by comma for notifications.

  4. In the List of selected controllers for suspension section, click + and select controllers.

  5. Click Save.
