Configure the Fluke Interface
If the interface is not configured prior to trying to use it, the interface will not function properly.
The settings for the medTester and Ansur functionality are configured from inside the Fluke Interface. Which settings you configure is based on the licensed functionality for your TMS database: medTester or Ansur, or both.
If your database is licensed for only medTester or only Ansur, you will not see the menu items for the functionality for which your database is not licensed. If you upgraded from a previous version of the medTester Sync Utility to the TMS Fluke Interface, verify that the file paths are correct on the medTester Options screen.
To set the interface options, follow these steps:
-
If the interface isn't already open, select Start > Programs > Four Rivers Software Systems, Inc. > TMS Fluke Interface
-
Log into the interface.
See the login topic if you need instructions.
-
When the interface opens, go to the Tools menu and select one of the following menu items:
-
To configure the medTester functionality, select medTester Options.
-
To configure the Ansur functionality, select Ansur Options.
-
-
When the options window opens, set all of the options with red field label.
See The Fluke Interface Options for descriptions of all available options.
-
Set any non-required options as necessary for your organization.
-
Click Save.
If you set up the options for one piece of the Fluke Interface (medTester or Ansur), and you need to set up the second part, repeat these steps. Fluke Interface options are saved on the database level.
