The Fluke Interface Options

Below, we describe the buttons available to you and each of the options found in the medTester Options and Ansur Options screens. For instructions on how to configure these options, see Fluke Configuration.

References to "[your local user ID]" means the user ID you use to log into your local machine, not your TMS login user ID.

Options Screen Toolbar

The toolbar buttons are the same whether you are looking at the medTester Options screen or the Ansur Options screen.

From left to right:

New Clears all of the fields and sets the option buttons back to their default selections.
Save Saves the changes you've made to the options.
Help Launches the help window.

The medTester Options Screen

medTester Options

Option Description
Select All / Select Checklists Used By

This option dictates which checklists to download. Select All is the default. 

If you choose Select Checklists Used by, also select a work order Type from the Default Work Order drop-down menu and a Segment.

Process MUP by segment and by user only / Process MUP by segment Select whether the MUP table should be processed according to both the segment and logged-in user, or just by the segment.

Failed PM Status / Failed PM Sub Status

Specify the Status and Sub Status codes for a failed medTester PM work order.

medTester File Paths

Option Description
Log File Path

The file path for where the medTester.log file is stored.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\. Click Browse to set the path.

Click View Log File to open the log in Notepad.

medTester Output Path

The file path for where the medTester test results are uploaded.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\medTester Output\. Click Browse to set the path.

TMS Output Path

The file path for the TMS Output folder.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\TMS Output\. Click Browse to set the path.

WinMT5K File Location

The file path for the WinMT5K folder.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\Winmt5k\. Click Browse to set the path.

Backup Files Path

The file path for the backup files.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\Backup\. Click Browse to set the path.

COM Port

Select the COM port that the device is connected to.

Baud Rate

Select a baud rate for the device (typically, 9600).

File path options are saved in the local machine’s registry.

Fluke Interface Options

Option Description
Enable PM Generation Check the box to enable PM generation in the Fluke Interface.
Performance Logging

Check the box to use performance logging in the Fluke Interface.

TMS OnSite URL The Web address of the TMS OnSite application. Typically: http://[your Web server]/tmsclient.

The Ansur Options Screen

Ansur Options

Option Description
Segment The segment in which to create new work orders.
Default Work Order The work order Type code to use when creating new work orders.

Failed PM Status / Failed PM Sub Status

Specify the Status and Sub Status codes for a failed Ansur PM work order.

Log File Path

The file path for where the Ansur.log file is stored.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\Ansur\. Click Browse to set the path.

Click View Log File to open the log in Notepad.

Ansur Results Path

The file path for where the Ansur test results should be uploaded.

By default, this should be: C:\Users\[your local user ID]\[your Documents folder]\FRSoft\medTester\Ansur Output\. Click Browse to set the path.

File path options are saved in the local machine’s registry.

Fluke Interface Options

These options are the same as those described in the Fluke Interface Options section above, under The medTester Options Screen. If you already set these options when setting up the medTester functionality, you don't have to set them up again.
