Template Allocator Prefix tool

As a bucket administrator, you can now configure prefixes (numbering conventions) for use with Template Allocator v2 (TA2) to create new drawing numbers quickly and consistently. We’re activating the Template Allocator Prefix page in Manage Bucket for all buckets with TA2 enabled.

Template Allocator Refresh for Dependencies

The Template Allocator Refresh for Dependencies set of enhancements is now live for all buckets with Template Allocator v2 (TA2) enabled.

These enhancements improve metadata dependency handling and enhance your overall experience. The update introduces a dynamic Required Metadata section that appears when a metadata field in the selected prefix is dependent to another metadata field. RedEye now applies consistent locking behavior across all wizard steps. When an unselected determinate value blocks the selection of a dependent value, clear instructional labels guide you in unlocking dependent fields.

New public API capabilities

Released new API capabilities/endpoints, including:

• Delete artefact.

• Add artefacts to groups / remove groups from artefacts.

• Get a list of MetadataValue for the MetadataKey:

  • metadata value name

  • metadata value id

  • determinant value name (if applicable)

  • determinant value id (if applicable)

• Search artefact content:

  • Replicates the Search artefact content keyword search function in RedEye.

• Upload endpoint now provides the artefact ID of a detected binary duplicate.
