Pin Photos in Drawing Artefacts
Pin photos directly to drawing artefacts for ongoing use using the RedEyeDMS mobile app for Android and iOS. You can pin photos to a drawing as visual supporting information regardless of its workflow state or version, similar to adding a comment. For example, field technicians can pin photos to provide real-world context, making artefacts easier to understand.
RedEye stores pinned photos as linked artefacts in the database and also displays them in the RedEye web. Control photo visibility to switch between technical schematic details and contextual information.
If you are a group user, advanced group user, or group admin, the system adds media artefacts only to the groups that you belong to.
You can only pin photos to drawing type artefacts. Document and media type artefacts are not supported. RedEye uploads all pinned photos as media type artefacts by default. The type of the pinned photo artefact is not editable.
If the image you want to pin requires markup or a review process, use the Markup Photo feature in the Markup tool instead.
