View a Document

Viewing a document opens it in the Portal viewer where you can zoom, pan, and explore the document.

ClosedView a Document in a Package

To view a document in a package:

  1. Open the package that contains the document that you want to view as described in View Packages.

  2. In the document list, click the View icon A blue eye symbol. of the document that you want to view.

    The document opens in a new browser window.

ClosedView a Document in a Review Package

To view a document in a review package:

  1. Open the package that contains the document that you want to view as described in View Packages.

  2. In the document list, click the Item ID of the document for which you want to view its comments.

    The Document Details page appears.

  3. In the Files group, click the View icon A blue eye symbol. of the document that you want to view.

    The document opens in a new browser window.

ClosedView a Document in a Project

To view a document in a project:

  1. Open the project that contains the document that you want to view as described in Find Documents.

  2. In the document list, in the Rendition column, click the View icon A blue eye symbol. of the document that you want to view.

    The document opens in a new browser window.

ClosedView a Document on the Clipboard

To view a document on the Clipboard:

  1. Open the clipboard as described in View Document Details in Clipboard.

  2. In the document list, in the Rendition column, click the View icon A blue eye symbol. of the document that you want to view.

    The document opens in a new browser window.

ClosedView a Document When Comparing Metadata Revisions

To view a document when comparing metadata revisions:

  1. Compare the metadata of two revisions as described in Compare Document Metadata Revisions.

  2. In the property list of the document that you want to view, in the Rendition value, click the View icon A blue eye symbol. next to the file name.

    The document opens in a new browser window.
