View Document Details in Clipboard

After adding documents to the clipboard, you can open the clipboard and view the document details.

View document properties

  1. Select the row of the document or click Details.

  2. In the Document Details page, you can navigate through the following tabs:

    • Properties: View the document properties.

    • References: Review the documents referenced by the selected document.

    • Where Used: View linked documents that have an incoming CAD external reference to the document you're accessing.

    • Details: View the document details, such as Version and Status.

    • History: View the actions performed on the document and the corresponding dates. If there are multiple history entries, click Compare to see the differences between versions.

    • Compliance: Select an action to review the compliance status of the document, such as For Submit or For Send. The colored dot indicates the compliance status.

      You can also select the Checks tab to view the full list of compliance rules that apply to the document. If the document meets a compliance rule, a check mark will appear to the left of the rule. If the document does not meet the requirement, a dash will appear instead.

    • Files: Download the document files, such as Source and Rendition, if included.

  3. To view properties of other documents, choose one of the following:

    • Select other rows to view the properties of the corresponding documents.

    • Click the navigation arrows in the header of the Document Details page to browse through the list.

  4. Click A blue x. in the upper-left corner to close the page.

You can update multiple document properties at once using the Metadata in the clipboard, or edit a single document property outside the clipboard.
