Bidding

The Bidding module is available to Projects and Capital Projects. The Bidding module consists of these pages, where you can create and manage bids depending on your role:

• Bid Package Summary: As a bid manager, create and manage bid packages on a project.

• Conditioning: As a bid manager, compare bids submitted by bidders, view the variance between bids, add comments to line items, and view bidder submissions for alternate line items and breakouts.

• Bid Line Items: As a bid manager, view the line items in the bid package prior to the Bid Close Date, view the estimated budget for each line item, and create and manage alternate line items and bid breakouts.

• Bidder Summary: As a bidder, accept or reject a bid invitation. As a bidder or bid manager, ask questions about the bid package and provide answers.

• Bid Submission: As a bidder, create, edit, and submit your bids for a bid package.
