People: Groups and Contacts
A group is the organization, department, company, or individual responsible for a reservation. Groups are one of the core EMS components required to create reservations. Your organization may use groups to represent internal departments, external organizations, or individual customers.
A contact is the person associated with a group who serves as the primary point of contact for reservation-related questions, updates, and communications.
Your administrator can change the label for the Group field. For example, it might appear as Customer, Department, Client, or another name that reflects your organization's terminology.
