Building Details
The left panel of Analyze building features various categories of metrics that provide insights into the building's performance and efficiency. These metrics help to make informed decisions regarding space allocation and other related considerations.
You can expand or collapse each panel to extend their width and view all metrics.

Usage
Usage metrics contribute to analysis by providing quantitative data about how effectively building spaces are being utilized.
To view a time frame, select Previous week or Previous month. The usage metrics update to match the selected time frame.

Headcount: Total number of individuals employed within your organization.

Engagement score: Indicates employee satisfaction with the building. This value might come from employee surveys or human resources.

Capacity: Maximum number of employees that can occupy the building.

Utilization: Shows how effectively the available space in a building is being used. It's the ratio of the used space to the total available space. High utilization indicates an efficient use of space, while low utilization indicates underused space.
Cost
Building cost metrics contribute to space allocation decisions. For example, high costs might indicate inefficient use of space and the need to review space allocation.

Monthly base rent: Calculated from the total of monthly rents based on contracts for floors within the building.

Rent per sqft: Calculated by dividing the total rent per month by the total square footage of the building.
Space
Provides details to help with smart decision-making around space efficiency and operational cost savings.

Total sqft: Total floor space within the building. Used to calculate the rent per square foot.

Sqft per employee: Can help identify underutilized spaces and provide insights for more efficient use.

Expiration: The next upcoming lease expiration date for the building.

Upcoming expiration: Indicates whether an expiration is upcoming within a specific time frame.
Forecast by department
In Forecast by department, you can view and edit headcount forecasts for departments within your organization. Use these values to analyze building utilization at various points in time.
