Materials
Manage work order materials on the Materials tab of the work order. Add new materials or update materials already on the work order. This ensures accurate customer billing and maintains current inventory records. It also offers detailed material tracking for regulatory compliance and reporting purposes.
The Materials tab might also include an Asset BOM (Bill of Materials) section.

The work order updates with changes to the material.
Delete
You might delete a material issue for several reasons, such as change in scope, cancellation of a task, or substitution.
-
Go to the Materials tab.
-
Locate the record you want to remove and select Delete from the Actions menu.
-
In the confirmation dialog, select Delete.
The material is removed from the work order. For items added from inventory, the quantity that was issued to the work order returns to the warehouse inventory.
