Procedures

Most shops establish specific procedures or tasks for inspections and scheduled maintenance. Use the Procedures module to enter these procedures into TMS and apply them to work orders and schedules.

For example, you might develop a procedure titled A/C PM Quarterly detailing steps for air conditioner upkeep, such as assessing belt condition and inspecting filters. Once created, you can apply this procedure across many air conditioner PM schedules.

In procedures, you have access to:

  • Create: You can create procedures. We recommend creating only the most important procedures. Avoid creating procedures for every task.

  • Update: If you have the procedure number, you can access and update the procedure's details. 

  • Query: Perform queries to quickly find specific procedures or tailor your searches based on specific criteria.
