Admin Portal for Mobile - Introduction

Use the Admin Portal to manage access, support users in real time, track mobile submissions, and configure branding for your organization. This portal can be used by administrators who control access and configuration and support staff who troubleshoot sessions, filters, and submissions.

In the Admin Portal, you can:

  • Register and provision admin portal users separately from app access to maintain appropriate controls: New registrations are reviewed by the application administrators, and access requires approval from your customer administrator.

  • Monitor user sessions to troubleshoot login and logout behavior: Review last authentication time, device type, app version, and session activity.

  • Diagnose access and visibility issues: Review user data from FAMIS 360 (security permissions, activity groups, properties, inspection classes), view or clear user-set filters in real time, and manage cached device data (delete or download for analysis).

  • Track mobile submissions for the last seven days: Filter by status (all, pending, failed), see each submission’s progression, and view the submission data and relevant message details for failed submissions to pinpoint the cause.

  • Configure branding: Update the logo and colors that appear on the login page, main menu, and dashboard.

  • Find environment details: View the FAMIS URL and service account used by the application, configuration overrides that have been set (for example, form fields, menu descriptions, and workbench filters), and view dashboard details such as those that display in the Need Help? section.

  • Manage administrative team members: Invite new admin portal users and assign roles (owner, editor, viewer) to control permissions.

Access the Admin Portal

We recommend that each customer’s application administrator invite team members to use the Admin Portal using the Team Management screen of the app. This ensures that the new user has access to the application identifier immediately, rather than waiting for manual provision of the application identifier.

If you did not receive an invitation email to join from your application administrator, go to the Admin Portal at https://portal.apptree.io/ and select the Register link to create your account. Registration creates your user account but does not grant access to apps. Access is provisioned by the administrative team.

Once you have been added to the application identifier and are approved, you can begin using the app based on the role provisioned.

Key areas at a glance

  • Users: Review sessions, device data, permissions, and user-set filters; perform real-time troubleshooting.

  • Submissions: Track submission status and investigate failed items with the API message.

  • Environment and branding: Verify environment details including FAMIS URL and service account associated with the environment, and configuration settings for the mobile app. Apply customer-specific branding updates for logo and color-scheme to be used.

  • Team management: Invite users and assign permissions for portal administration.
