Manage Mobile Geolocation Warning Message

Use the Mobile geolocation warning notification to alert technicians attempting to close a work order while off-site. Turn on or off the Geolocation error warning message by adjusting settings at both the global and role levels. The technician receives a notification that proceeding might be flagged as non-compliant with geofencing.

Step 1: Configure warning for global users

1. Go to Admin > Mobile Settings.

2. On the Geolocation compliance warning field, select:

   • On: Turn on the warning for roles with permission.

   • Off: Turn off the warning for all users.

3. Click Save.

Step 2: Configure warning for specific roles

1. Go to Verisae > Roles.

2. Select a role name.

3. Click the Mobile Role Detail tab.

4. In the Other resources section, on the View geolocation compliance warning field, select or clear View.

   If you clear the View checkbox, the system doesn't display the warning for users with the selected role, regardless of the Admin global setting.

5. Click Save.
