Bill Validation Dashboard

This dashboard allows you to filter and sort utility bills for validation.

The following information displays on the dashboard after you have a selected a Site and Date range:

• Site: The site the utility bill is for

• Meter number: The number/ID of the meter being billed

• Bill type: The energy source billed for (renewable solar, electric, natural gas, and so on)

• Bill number: The number identifying the bill

• Start date: The first day of the billing period for the bill

• End date: The last day of the billing period for the bill

• Usage: The amount of energy being billed

• Cost: The bill amount based on energy usage

Filter and configure dashboard

1. Select a site from the menu on the far left.

2. Select a start and end date from the date fields.

3. Click Submit.

Click the filter button to add more Configurations for the dashboard.

You can configure the following:

• Site: Matches your selection on the dashboard (if you made a selection)

• Date range (Start and End date): Matches your selection on the dashboard (if you made a selection)

• Thresholds: Click the plus button to filter bills shown on the dashboard by:

  • Bill type: The energy source billed for (renewable solar, electric, natural gas, and so on)

  • Comparison type: How the dashboard compares bills shown (either Metered v. Billed or YOY Month)

  • Months: The month (or months) of the year the bills are for; you can also select All months

  • Difference type: How the dashboard shows the difference between bills shown (either Percentage or Value)

  • Variable: The variable for the bills shown (Cost, Usage, or Both)

  • Value: Enter a value or percentage for an over/under threshold

    The dashboard highlights the usage or cost (or both) values to indicate if they are over or under the threshold you define.

• Graph configuration: Determines how many days the graph looks back in days (used instead of a date range)
