Create Departments

Organize your organization’s operations by creating departments, which categorize sites into sections with a shared functional purpose. Departments help align work orders and site types for smoother management and integration within work processes.

You need to have administrator permission to perform this action.

  1. Navigate to AdminDepartments.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter the department details:

    • Name: Unique name for the department.

    • Description: Brief description.

    • Code: Assign a unique identifier for the department, typically used for tracking and linking departments across reports or financial processing.

    • Floor level: Specify the floor level associated with the department. This indicates the department's physical location within a building for better spatial organization.

    • Status: Select whether the status is active or inactive.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In the confirmation window, select one of the following options to continue:
