Remove PPM Assets from Work Orders in WorkSpace

When you indicate assets for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) based on the rules set on PPM Manager, each work order populates with contract assets. Ensure accurate scheduling when you close a work order by removing incorrectly included assets that don't require maintenance, then select a reason for removal.

Update the operational status and condition of assets on the work order to ensure you include only relevant assets.

Your administrator must configure PPM asset selection before you can complete this task.

  1. Go to ServiceAll Work Orders.

  2. When closing a work order, in Job complete, click Update operational status.

  3. Clear the assets that you didn't work on.

  4. Update the Operational status and Asset condition.

  5. Select an option for removing the asset in Not included reason.

  6. Click Save.

    The system saves the action in Work Order Summary and marks the asset as Asset removed. To review the historical record of the event, including asset modification and removal, click AssetsPending Asset Actions.

    Your administrator reviews and approves the removed asset.
