Apply Custom Rates to Quotes and Estimates

Apply custom rates to quotes and estimates, just like for invoices. This allows for dynamic pricing based on predefined contract rates, reducing manual rate entry and ensuring accuracy in labor charges.

Enable custom rates

  1. In Admin, click Estimate and Quote Settings.

  2. In the Allow custom rates field, select Yes.

Configure custom rates

  1. Go to Service Providers and select a provider.

  2. Go to Contracts and select a contract.

  3. In Time & Materials, select a contract reference.

  4. On the Contract Detail page, go to the Contract Changes tab.

  5. In the Custom Rates field, click the plus sign to add a new custom rate.

  6. Click Save Rates.

    The custom rate becomes available when the quote or estimate is approved.

Apply custom rates

  1. Navigate to Service > Authorizations > Awaiting Input.

  2. Open the quote or estimate details by clicking WO #.

  3. In the Labor Charges section, click the plus sign to add a new labor adjustment row.

  4. Enter a charge description.

  5. In the Rate name column, select the custom rate.

  6. Enter the hours.

  7. Click Submit.
