Search for and Print Scheduled Work Orders

To search for active scheduled work orders that were generated in the current month, follow these steps:

If you want to find work orders generated in the previous month, the steps are the same, except in step 3, you will select "Last Month".

  1. In the Work Orders menu, select Query.

  2. In the Type drop-down menu, select Preventive Maintenance, Planned Event, or Inspection.

  3. In the Status drop-down menu, choose Active, or the Status your schedules were set to generate at, if not set to generate Active work orders.

  4. Select any other search criteria you want to use to find your scheduled work orders.

  5. Select the Details tab, if you are using a standard form, or the tab that contains the Date Created field, if you are using a custom form.

  6. Select the Advanced Query button next to Date Created.

  7. The Advanced Query window opens. From the Operator list, choose This Month.

  8. Click Add New Criteria.

  9. Click OK. When the Advanced Query window closes, you will see {AQ} in the Date Created field, the drop-down menu is unavailable.

  10. Click Execute to start the search.

  11. If the query you entered returned results, you are presented with a list of all work orders that fit your criteria. If not, you can click the Return to Query button to return to the Query screen and adjust your search criteria.

To print the work order records, select the Quick Print button in the toolbar.

  12. If you see a confirmation pop-up window asking you to confirm that you want to print the work orders, click Yes.

  13. If the option is enabled, you are shown a preview of the work orders report that will print, and you can select File > Print to print out the work orders. If the option is not enabled, the work orders will print upon confirmation in the step above.

After all of the work orders are printed, you can search for and print more PM, PE, or Inspections work orders by repeating the steps above until you have printed all of the scheduled work orders your technicians need to complete.
