Search for a Work Order — Work Order Number Known

To search for a work order using the work order number, follow these steps:

  1. From the Work Orders menu, click Edit.

  2. Enter the work order number and click OK.

If you do not know the work order number, you can use the Work Order Query screen through the main menu in TMS. The Work Order Query screen allows you to enter multiple criteria and perform a search or query returning a list of records if more than one record is found.

To search for a work order, follow these steps:

  1. From the Work Orders menu, click Query.

  2. Enter your search criteria.

    For example, from the Account list, click 0100 Anesthesiology.

  3. Click Execute.

    Your query returns all of the records that match your search criteria.

Advanced Queries

You can use Advanced Queries to enter values for items available in a drop-down menu, numerical range (a meter reading for an asset), text field (the last name of an employee), and date range. You can qualify your search further by querying on the same field using multiple search criteria.

Search for Work Orders for retired/inactive assets

To search for work orders for retired/inactive assets, follow these steps:

  1. From the Work Orders menu, click Query.

  2. Click the Asset Number lookup.

  3. From the asset Status dropdown, select INACT-INACTIVE.

  4. Fill out the rest of the fields as needed.

  5. Click Execute.

    Your query returns all the records that match your search.

  6. Double-click the asset of your choice to go back to the Work Order - Query page.

  7. Click Execute.

    Your query returns the list of work orders for the retired asset.
