Edit a Work Order
When you save a new work order, you are taken to the Work Order Edit screen. Additional tabs become available, depending on what form you're using, and you can add additional information to the work order, like assignment information and procedures.
You can also reach Work Order Edit from the menu bar and the toolbar (the toolbar option is only available if you're already on a Work Orders module screen).
To reach the Work Order Edit screen from the toolbar, if you're already on a Work Orders module screen, follow these steps:

In the Edit field in the toolbar, enter the Work Order Number of the work order you want to edit.

Click Load. If found, the work order opens in the Work Order Edit screen.
To reach the Work Order Edit screen from the menu bar:

Go to Work Orders > Edit.

In the pop-up window, enter the Work Order Number of the record you want to edit.

If you want to open the work order using a form other than the one selected in the Form drop-down menu, select a different form.

Click OK. The work order opens in the Work Order Edit screen.
Once you're on the Work Order Edit screen, you can modify the work order, like add an asset if there isn't one already tied to the work order, or complete the work order.
