AutoPrint Profile Example
To create a detailed example of an active AutoPrint profile, follow these steps:
- Name - The Name of this profile is Pending CM Maintenance
- Description - The Description of this profile is Pending Corrective Maintenance requests for the Maintenance department. The AutoPrint profile’s Description should be more detailed than the profile’s Name so that users can better understand the purpose of the profile.
- Criteria - The criteria this profile will use to search
for work orders is:
- Corrective Maintenance type work orders
Pending status
- Pending Request sub status
- Maintenance skill
No Shop
Work orders that do not fulfill all five of these items of criteria will not be printed by this profile.
For example, if a work order is of the same Type, Status, Sub Status, and Skill as this profile, but has a Shop specified, the work order will not be printed by this profile. In order for that work order to print, there must be a separate profile created with the same Type, Status, Sub Status, Skill, and Shop as well.
-
New Status - When this profile locates work orders that exactly match the Criteria provided for this profile, the profile will change the work orders as follows:
- The Pending status will become an Active status.
- The Pending Request sub status will become an Issued, Being Worked On sub status.
-
Printing - After the Status and Sub Status have been changed, the work orders will be printed to the following printer criteria:
-
Justin’s Printers printer group
-
HP LaserJet 4050 Series PCL6 printer
- WO Technicians Report is the report that will print
-
1 is the specified number of copies that will print
As denoted by the check placed in the Active check box, this profile is actively querying for work order that match all five items of criteria set for this profile.
