Alternate field name

Reference

N/A

This field is where you can store any internal reference numbers that are important to your organization. For example, a project number can be  entered here to identify all work orders related to a large project. When an organization does a data conversion from another CMMS software product to TMS, the work order number from the old system is placed in this field on the converted work order in TMS so that old work orders from the other system can be located by their old number.

Total Charge Amount

N/A

Reflects the sum of the time and material charges for the work order.

Total Material Cost

N/A

Displays the total amount of material charges to the work order.

Total Cost

N/A

Displays the total amount of all time charges to the work order.

Schedule

Field

Definition

Date Created

This is the date the work order was created (including when a PM schedule created a work order by PM generation and when the medTester Interface created a work order).  This field can't be edited.

Date Available

If TMS created this work order through PM Generation this field shows the date the PM is due. For example, use Date Available to identify when an asset or area is available for repair.  A patient room needs an electrical outlet repaired, but the room has a patient in it until 4:30 PM today.  When TMS generates a PM schedule into a work order, the current Next Due Date is populated into this field.  The standard PM work order completion reports use this field.

Date Needed

If TMS created this work order through PM Generation this field shows the date that the PM work order is required to be completed.  Use Needed Before to identify when the request needs to be completed.  If you use the same example as above, then the patient is scheduled to be placed in the room at 11:00 AM the next day.  When TMS generates a PM schedule into a work order, the new Next Due Date is populated into this field.

Week Scheduled

Use this field to indicate a specific week that a work order is scheduled to be performed.  Generally, you would select only Mondays to populate this field.  At the beginning of each week, you can perform a query that shows you which work orders are scheduled for the week.

User Defined

You have ten User Defined Fields to store any additional information that is important to your organization. The field labels can be customized to be anything that you want on the Form Properties screen. See the TMS OnLine/OnSite System Administrator Guide for more information on customizing field labels.
