How is the Work Orders Module Used?

A work order is created to track work that is being done, and the work's cost in time and materials. The Work Orders module can also be adapted to other activities, such as event planning, project planning, and tracking the location of a wide range of objects.

Here are some ways that your organization might use the Work Orders module:

  • Track work spent repairing assets and equipment.

  • Track time spent on inspections or doing collection rounds.

  • Track assignments and time spent on regularly scheduled maintenance checks (PM schedules).

  • Track participants and time spent on regularly planned activities, like fire drills or training events (PE schedules).

  • Track the check out and check in of movable assets, such as IV pumps, scanners, vehicles, and keys.
