Manually Print All Auto Print PDF Documents for a Work Order

If you want to manually print a work order record and all associated PDF documents, or documents tied to the asset, the asset's model number, or a work order procedure, which are marked with the "Auto Print" status, you can use the Print with Documents button in the Work Order Edit toolbar.

Two conditions must be true for this button to be available: at least one document is tied directly to the work order (versus tied to an asset that is tied to the work order), and at least one printer group exists for TMS (Setup > General > Printer Groups).

  1. Retrieve the work order you want to open with Work Order Edit, or search for the work order with Work Order Query.

  2. On the Work Order Edit screen, click the Print with Documents button in the toolbar (next to the Document Upload button).

  3. In the pop-up window, select the Printer Group to use from the first drop-down menu.

  4. Next, select the Printer from the drop-down menu.

The list of printers in the Printer drop-down menu are based on the selected Printer Group.

  5. In the Report drop-down menu, select the report to use to print the work order.

  6. Click OK.

TMS sends the work order record and all attached PDF documents with a Status of "AUTOPRINT" to the printer to be printed.
