Utilities Module Business Rules

  • Utilities module required fields are: Description, Segment, Utility Account, Type, Sub Type, Site, Building, Billing Days.
  • Electric Type required fields are: Consumed Units, Billing Cost.
  • Gas Type required fields are: Consumed Units, Billing Cost.
  • Liquid Type required fields are: Consumed Units, Billing Cost.

  • Renewable Energy Type required fields are: Consumed GWe, Billing Cost.

  • Solid Type required fields are: Consumed Recyclable, Billing Cost.

  • Consumed Units are based on Sub Type.

  • Sub Type Setup required fields are: Type, Code, Description, Consumption Unit Label, MMBTU Factor (for Electric, Gas and Renewable Energy only).
  • Utility Account Code Setup required fields are: Code, Description, Type, Service Provider.
  • User Defined fields are based on Type codes.
  • Only Utility Vendors can be attached to a Utility Account.
  • All text box Consumption Costs fields are numeric.
  • When you set up Account codes, you can't change the Type when you are in Edit mode.
