PE Schedule (TMS Enterprise) - Details Tab

The Details tab contains User Defined Field labels, a place to include special instructions for the technician (not the process), and two additional options.

User Defined

Use the ten fields on the Details tab to store any additional information that is important to your organization. The field labels can be customized to be anything that you want on the Form Properties page.

Instructions

Instructions is a list of work or notes for a PE work order. There are two ways to show instructions in TMS: on the PE template or on a procedure. Putting the instructions on a procedure and then using the procedure on multiple PE templates gives you a consistent PE strategy. Occasionally, you will need special instructions just for one asset or PE template.

The following is an example of instructions for a Planned Event annual electrical receptacle check:

  1. Check polarity with a receptacle analyzer.

  2. Check receptacle and faceplate for any damage.

  3. Check for 115 V.A.C. power.

  4. Check ground.

  5. Check cap holding force with force tester.

  6. Visual check of all receptacles, plugs, cords, and cord insulation.

Options

  • Unique WO - Select this check box if you want to print one work order for multiple work orders generated even if two different frequency PE schedules are due on the same day.
  • Variable Schedule - Select this check box if you want to skip a PE generation if there is still an outstanding work order that is not complete. If this option is not enabled, the PE schedule will be created with a fixed schedule, which means that this PE schedule will generate additional work orders even if there are active work orders.
